Billy McAllister William Ray 'Bill' McAllister, 57, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2007, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born August 30, 1950 in Oklahoma City to Herman and Pauline (Parks) McAllister. Bill and Janis were married on July 5, 1974. He always joked about how it was his last Independence Day. Bill retired in 2000 from St. Anthony Hospital after 25 years as Chief Plumber. After his retirement, he continued working with Medical Gas Management as a technician. He was a member of the Local 344 plumbers union. Bill leaves behind his loving wife of 33 years, Janis; two sons, Herman McAllister of OKC and B. J. McAllister of OKC; his mother, Pauline; one daughter-in-law, Merri McAllister of North Carolina; two sisters, Linda Carroll of OKC and Robin Walker and husband Chris of Blanchard, OK; one sister-in-law, Christine Phillips; his two precious granddaughters, Katelyn McAllister and Ashley McAllister; and many other loving relatives. He is preceded in death by his father, Herman 'Jiggs' McAllister and his brother, Robert McAllister. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 26, 2007, in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
