Jack L. Jewell passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on March 8, 2011 at South Shore Hospital, Weymouth, MA, at the age of 59. Jack was born October 24, 1951 to Raymond & Nedra Jewell and was raised in Oklahoma City. He was a graduate of Capitol Hill High School in 1969 and attended Central State University. Jack's business career spanned almost the entire country, working with several major retail companies including ESPN, Disney Stores and Build-a-Bear Workshops, directing store openings and development. On September 3, 2005, Jack married Linda Storm of Scituate, MA, and they established a beautiful home overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Donald M. Jewell; and his nephew, Tom Jewell. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Linda, of their home in Scituate, MA; and her family, who were a great part of his life; by his brothers: Gerald R. Jewell and his wife Shirley of Houston, TX; Larry L. Jewell and his wife Candy of OKC; and John R. Jewell and his wife Linda of OKC; sister-in-law, Daisy Norwood and her husband Charles of McKinney, TX; and by nine nieces and nephews and 12 great- nieces and nephews in whom Jack had invested extraordinary amounts of love and time and who will miss him deeply. A memorial service was held in Scituate, MA on March 12, 2011. Remember Jack with joy, laughter and love, because that is how he would remember you.
