Marcos Jaques Obituary
On July 2, 2024, Marcos Manuel Jaques, lifelong resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away from this life at the age of 73. Born on February 12, 1951, Marcos was the son of Manuel Jaques and Michaela Ramirez Jaques, both of whom have preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his nephew, Juan Flores.

Marcos is survived by his wife, Maria Jaques; three children, Jessica Mendoza, Gina Jaques, and Marios Jaques and his wife Asia Ramirez; 11 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild; as well as his brother, Raul Jaques and wife Betty, his sister, Amelia Flores and husband Herasmo, and many other loving family members and friends.

A proud Veteran of the United States Air Force, Marcos went on to have a lengthy and rewarding career as an aircraft mechanic for Tinker Air Force Base. After his retirement from Tinker, Marcos focused on his hobbies, including watching his favorite old movies, and OSU football. He had such fond memories of his youth and enjoyed telling stories about the good old days. More than anything, it was the love of his family that gave him strength and brought him the most joy. As we reflect upon a life well-lived, let us remember Marcos for his bravery, his hardworking nature, the many passions he pursued throughout his life, and for his unwavering loyalty to the people he loved. He will be very dearly missed.
