I was so blind in school.  Everyone looks different than the way I remembered, but like many things, we got better with age.  Maybe not the way you thought or planed but we are here 40 years later. My baby girl is now 15 her big bro is 33 and grandson is 11

Anna, none of us really looked like our senior pics.  My hair was always straight and in my senior pic it was all poufed up and flipped up!!  I prefer to think of all my school friends as I remember them, not how the senior pics made us look.   And you're correct that life did not turn out as planned or hoped.  I like to think it has turned out better than what I invisioned all those years ago.  I never had any children of my own but I do have two beautiful step-daughters who call me Mom and have given me six wonderful grandchildren.  And I'm looking forward to retiring next year--hopefully to go into the restaurant business with two of my sisters.
